Alison Goodwin - Gallerist
Alison spent 22 years of her life dedicated to dance. She trained, performed and created through dance. She attended York University where she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in dance.
Following university Alison spent 3 years living in Los Angeles. She earned a diploma in Business and Art History from Glendale College. In conjunction with her studies she spent time dancing and practicing yoga and working in the fashion and restaurant industries.
Upon returning to Toronto she did a short stint in Advertising while simultaneously developing a plan to open The Village Gallery. She was hungry to merge her passions, which had developed throughout her adventures. In September 2003 she opened The Village Gallery, her permanant gallery space in Mississauga.
Art Beyond Walls is the latest addition in Alison’s art world.
This innovative urban pop-up gallery will bring a compilation of exceptionally talented artists from across North America to Toronto. Featuring an exciting venue, each event will integrate music and performing art for a truly incomparable art buying experience, with proceeds going toward an art related cause.
