Katia Poulin

Katia was born in Quebec City in 1971. Her artistic career began as self-taught. She later studied Visual Arts at the Riviere-du-Loup and Saint-Foy Colleges in Quebec. Her artwork is the reflection of a young generation not only interested in classic literature, but also in the interaction of human beings. By using a diverse variety of mediums such as: pastel, charcoal, oil and glaze, Katia Poulin transports us to futuristic atmospheres. Her elegant art forms evoke the individuality and sensuality of the people living in a metropolis without forgetting the poetic feeling of ancient art.
