Laurie Wonfor Nolan

Laurie’s first solo show of large scale (En plein aire landscapes opened in Toronto in December of 1999. This show marked the start of a purer form of expression for Laurie who was trained in editorial illustration and graphic design at Sheridan and has worked as a commercial artist since 1983. Her immediate and honest approach to painting in the landscape now carries through to still life and urban subjects. In addition, she has fulfilled numerous portrait commissions and her life and nature drawings are part of many private collections. Laurie currently teaches painting and offers workshops at the Cambridge Centre for the Arts.
